A sad update: The 400 Theater shuts its doors

The end of a neighborhood movie theater.

I’m sorry to say that after 111 years in the moving picture business, The 400 Theater has shown its last reel. Located near Chicago’s Lake Michigan shoreline, at 6746 North Sheridan Road, The 400 was Chicago’s oldest film venue.
